Animal Behaviour/Veganism

Before modelling, Capricorn Moon ran a successful pet services business offering boarding, dog walking and home care for dogs and cats and aims to set up something similar in the future but this time offering animal behaviour therapy. Her specialised subjects in this field are canine aggression and primate conservation.

Being a strict vegan and always having an affinity with animals Capricorn Moon was drawn towards animal behaviour as well as many aspects of animal welfare. Now an animal behaviourist, she has a diploma in animal behaviour and is presently studying for her certificate in Primatology and Higher certificate of Cynology to further her knowledge. Capricorn Moon is keen to learn more about the animal kingdom that many of us often take for granted, abuse, neglect, use for entertainment, for food, for clothing etc

Holistic Therapies

Due to bad experiences with the medical profession, either through misdiagnosis or side effects from pharmacuetical drugs, Capricorn Moon took the decision to learn more about holistic therapies with a view to treating her family herself with alternative remedies. C.M. is a strict vegan and has brought her children up on the same diet due to them all being lactose intolerant at birth.

Capricorn Moon now has a diploma in Anatomy, Physiology & Body Massage and an NVQ level 3 in Aromatherapy and wishes to learn more about diagnosis and nutrition to benefit her family's long term health.

Youth and Community Work

Capricorn Moon has extensive experience and training in youth & community work. She has worked in many areas of this field of work including family support worker, general volunteer and a housing and benefits officer. Capricorn Moon has previously set up and run a bully support service to raise awareness of the growing problem of bullying, working closely with schools, parents, the victim and the bully. A calender project was then set up (thanks to many photographers and models from net model) to raise awareness and funding for a local drop in, information and support centre
(The Abingdon Bridge) .

Miss Moon recieved a certificate of recognition of her voluntary work from the Vale of White Horse District Council in 1996. With certificates in mental health training and working with challenging behaviour as well as her years of experience of working closely with medium to high risk clients, Capricorn Moon continues to help people within her community, focusing mainly
in areas of homelessness, mental health, home education and legal issues, including child access and domestic violence.
